The SENSUS collection reinterprets the symbolism of the Trypillian-Kukuteni culture (6th–3rd millennia BCE). These wall panels, each 40 cm in diameter, combine archaic symbols with contemporary aesthetics. Every line and relief is designed to be touched, revealing a living connection between form and matter. The ceramic surface is coated with a mixture of marble dust and natural wax, giving it a unique softness and warmth. The use of eco-friendly materials and handcrafted finishing emphasize the objects’ natural origins.
Thanks to the material’s natural porosity, essential oils can be applied to the sculptures, combining scent with visual and tactile experiences.
For me, direct contact with works of art is an alternative form of cognition. It is “cognition through touch,” in which the hand becomes a tool for understanding form and history. SENSUS objects are designed for various interior scenarios: they can be part of wall compositions or stand alone as individual elements on horizontal surfaces. This adaptability allows art to be harmoniously integrated into a space, creating striking accents.
